DB0109 Acrylic Paint - 109: WW1 Blue - Matt - 14ml

No. 109 WW1 Blue is a water-based Acrylic paint with a Matt finish, supplied in a 14ml dropper bottle. It was developed for plastic model kits and resin models, but also takes to many other substrates. Humbrol has been the modeller's standard for decades, and this re-engineered formula carries a high pigment load for strong opacity. Satin, Gloss and Metallic finishes are also available.

Key Features

• No. 109 WW1 Blue, a non-reflective Matt finish suited to WWI aircraft and vehicles
• 1x 14ml dropper bottle for controlled dispensing and less waste
• Rich pigmentation giving high opacity and coverage
• Self-levelling resin system for a smooth surface with no brush marks once dry
• Touch dry in 20 - 40 mins; hard dry in 1 - 2 hours
• Low-odour, water-based formula; clean brushes with water or Acrylic Thinners when wet, cellulose when dry

Ideal For

• WWI aircraft, tank and equipment builds, including Airfix WWI kits
• Most plastics, resin, wood, glass, ceramics, metal, cardboard and sealed plaster
• Diorama detailing, drybrushing and weathering over a Matt base

How to Use

Brush straight from the bottle or palette, or airbrush thinned with water or Acrylic Thinners at 2 parts paint to 1 part thinner. Two thin coats are preferable to one thick coat, so let the first coat hard dry before applying the second. Allow a full 24 hours to cure for the best adhesion and scratch resistance.

Warning: not suitable for children under 3 years.
