DB0071 Acrylic Paint - 71: Oak - Satin - 14ml

Acrylic Paint No. 71 Oak is a Satin, water-based Acrylic in a 14ml dropper bottle. It is developed for plastic model kits and resin models, but suits many other substrates. Matt, Gloss and Metallic finishes are also available in the range. Humbrol has been the modeller's standard for decades.

Key Features

• Satin finish in Oak, Humbrol No. 71
• 14ml dropper bottle for measured dispensing and easier colour mixing
• High pigment density for solid opacity in two thin coats
• Self-levelling resin system that dries free of brush marks
• Touch dry in 20 - 40 mins; hard dry in 1 - 2 hours
• Water-based and low-odour, suitable for ages 3 and above

Ideal For

• Plastic and resin kits, plus wood, glass, ceramics, metal and sealed plaster
• Wood and earth tones on military vehicles, dioramas and railway rolling stock
• Hairspray and chipping work, as the dried film lifts cleanly with a damp brush

How to Use

Brush straight from the bottle, or airbrush thinned with water or Acrylic Thinners at 2 parts paint to 1 part thinner. Two thin coats are preferable to one thick coat, allowing the first to hard dry before recoating. Clean brushes with water or Acrylic Thinners when wet, cellulose when dry.
